This gripping account of the civil litigation regarding the Lockerbie terrorist bombing of Pan Am Flight 103 - the most significant air disaster case of the 20th century - features conspiracies, surprising discoveries, intense negotiations, and riveting courtroom drama. Along the way, it commemorates Lee Kreindler, a deeply passionate attorney who was willing to risk everything to get justice and fair compensation for the victims' families and to make air travel safer for everyone.
Ruth Kreindler
Ruth was married to Lee for 50 years, during which they were partners in every sense of the word – the fight for justice was their joint fight.
In addition to her career as an interior and architectural designer, Ruth was with Lee every step of the way in his legal efforts to make the world a better place. She accompanied him on his many travels during the Lockerbie litigation and Libya negotiations, and they spoke about them at length at home, on airplane rides, and via telephone. In the process, Ruth recorded her notes and created large scrapbooks documenting the events. Her vivid, detailed, first-hand account became the the foundation for this book.
